Detectives from the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Group investigating racist and neo-nazi graffiti spray painted in a Calamvale park in February, last week executed a number of search warrants.
Police will allege that between February 3 at 6pm and February 4 at 6am, the footpath at the Calamvale District Park was spray painted and a racist banner was attached between two trees.
“A number of items of interest were seized after police executed three warrants on Brisbane’s southside on Friday,” Queensland Police said in a statement today.
“At this time, no charges have been laid and investigations are ongoing.”
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to contact them.
“Everyone in Queensland has a right to feel safe, to not feel threatened or victimised and the Queensland Police Service remains committed to supporting people across our culturally diverse society,” police said.
“The Queensland Police Service urges anyone who feels threatened or fearful by the actions of others to contact police.”
