Did you happen to see a meteorite blasting through the Gold Coast sky last night?
Officers from the Gold Coast Police Rapid Action Patrol said they were surprised to see the meteorite blaze across the sky while on patrol in Surfers Paradise.
The meteorite was caught on the body-worn camera of one of the officers patrolling in a police vehicle around 9.45pm last night.
The Senior Constable said it was “not a sight you get to see everyday” and could not believe the whole incident had been captured on his body worn camera.
