Man charged over 1989 murder of Doris McCartney and Ronald Swann

Victorian Homicide Squad Detectives have today arrested and charged a 58-year-old Rowville man with the murders of Doris McCartney and Ronald Swann in Moorabbin on October 22, 1989.

The charges come on the back of a public appeal for information and the release of a $1million dollar reward by Victoria Police last month.

The man has been charged with two counts of murder and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
