A woman in her 60s has died after being struck by a vehicle at Hurstville yesterday.
Police say that just before 10.30am on Thursday , emergency services were called to Rose Street after reports a woman had been hit by a 4WD.
“The woman died at the scene. She is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in her 60s,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old man, wasn’t injured but was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.”
Officers from St George Police Area Command established a crime scene and the Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
