Two men have escaped serious injury following a helicopter crash at a rural property in the state’s Central West.
Just before 5.30pm on Saturday, emergency services responded to reports of a helicopter crash on a rural property along Hiney Road, Orange.
The pilot and his passenger, two men aged 55 and 24, exited the helicopter which was later destroyed by fire.
Both men sustained minor injuries and were taken to Orange Hospital for observation.
Officers attached to Central West Police District attended and have notified the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
