A man has died following a single-vehicle crash at Pennant Hills this morning.
Police say that just before 4.30am today, emergency services were called to the westbound off-ramp of the M2 Motorway at Pennant Hills Road, Pennant Hills, following reports a truck had left the road and collided with a rock wall.
The driver, a man – believed to be aged in his late 50’s – died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Officers from Ryde Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
As investigations continue, the westbound off-ramp of the M2 Motorway has been closed. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
