Reduced fees for the Three Capes Track Experience will be extended from 30 September to 30 November, giving Tasmanians even longer to support local businesses and explore their own backyard, the Minister for Environment and Parks has announced.
Minister Roger Jaensch said a 27% discount would reduce the price for the four-day trek to only $360, with many Tasmanians already taking up the discounted offer.
“The Three Capes Track is one of the jewels in Tasmania’s crown of stunning natural locations, and this extension of the discount is great news for Tasmanians and businesses on the Tasman peninsula that will continue to benefit from the increase in visitation,” said Mr Jaensch.
“It’s one of the many initiatives that form part of Tourism Tasmania’s Make Yourself at Home campaign that is inspiring Tasmanians to holiday at home and support local businesses as we continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Designed to cater for a broad range of ages and abilities, the Three Capes Track Experience is an ideal walk for those who haven’t undertaken overnight walks in the past, as well as seasoned walkers, the Minister said.
