Fremantle Detectives have charged three boys in relation to an armed robbery in Munster that saw a woman in her 60s held at knifepoint.
Police will allege that at around 7.30am on Sunday (30 August) a group of people gained entry to a residence in Munster.
At the time a woman aged in her 60s was home alone and was confronted by the group.
One member of the group held the victim at knife-point while other members of the group stole several items from the residence including jewellery, a mobile phone and other items.
A short time a later a stolen silver Mitsubishi Pajero was located burnt out in Browning Avenue, Lake Coogee, which is approximately 1km from the burglary location.
Two boys, aged 15 and 17 have been charged with:
– Aggravated Armed Robbery
– Stealing
– Criminal Damage by Fire
– Steal Motor Vehicle
– Aggravated Burglary and Commit
A third boy, aged 17 has been charged with:
– Aggravated Armed Robbery
– Criminal Damage by Fire
– Steal Motor Vehicle
– Aggravated Burglary and Commit
They will all appear in the Perth Children’s Court today.
