Queensland Police have charged a woman with an additional offence following an incident in the Maryborough CBD that saw a 77-year-old woman knocked to the ground.
It’s alleged by Police that at around 9.25am on April 27th, a woman pushing a pram shoved the older woman with the pram on Adelaide Street, causing her to fall to the ground.
“A 77-year-old Maryborough woman suffered a sprained wrist. A 42-year-old woman was charged with commit public nuisance (violent) and has since been charged with serious assault,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
She has been remanded in custody to face Maryborough Magistrates Court tomorrow.
“Police would like to thank the community for their assistance.”
