A search and rescue operation has recommenced this morning to locate a 77-year-old man missing from Burrum Heads since yesterday.
Paul Kearns (pictured) was last seen at an address on Riverview Drive, Burrum Heads between 3.30pm and 4.30pm and has not been seen or heard from since.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 183cm tall, with a proportionate build and grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey and yellow t-shirt, navy long shorts, a yellow and green camouflage cap and sneakers.
“Police and family hold concerns for Paul’s welfare as he has a medical condition which causes confusion,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“Rural Fire Brigade, SES personnel and emergency services recommenced search efforts this morning around the Burrum Heads River and Riverview Drive area.
“Residents are urged to check their properties, structures, boats, cars, and trailers for signs of Paul.”
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
