UPDATE:
An 83-year-old man reported missing from Mudjimba since February 14 has been located deceased.
The man’s body was discovered at Peregian Beach just after 6pm.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

A search to locate an 83-year-old man reported missing from Mudjimba has concluded today.
“Edwin Rose was last seen on February 14 and reported missing on Thursday as he has not been heard from,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“Police, with the assistance of State Emergency Service and Surf Lifesaving Club volunteers, searched an area between Coolum and Peregian Beach but could not find Edwin.”
Residents and business owners from Peregian to Mudjimba are being asked to check their properties for him.
Edwin (pictured) is described as Caucasian, around 168cm tall with blue eyes and grey hair.
“He may also appear confused if approached,” QPS said.
Anyone who may have seen Edwin or knows of his whereabouts is urged to immediately contact police.
