Put Canberra’s new public transport ticketing to the test

Transport Canberra is inviting Canberrans to be a part of its new public transport ticketing transition by becoming a MyWay+ tester.

It says your involvement will include early hands-on experience using MyWay+ services.

“You’ll test the new journey planner, mobile app, MyWay+ online account, and new equipment on board buses and at light rail stops,” Transport Canberra said in a statement.

“Your valuable feedback will be critical in helping us to understand how the system will work for customers. During testing, you won’t be charged when you tap on or off a bus or light rail.”

Applications to become a MyWay+ tester are now open and will close at 5pm on Sunday 8 September.

Approximately 200 successful applicants will be notified by email with instructions on next steps.

The user testing period is expected to take place over a 6-week period from Friday 20 September until Friday 1 November.

To apply, complete the online form and explain in 100 words or less why you want to become a MyWay+ tester.
