Police are seeking witnesses to a crash involving a stolen car in Aspley this morning that left a man and four-year-old boy injured.
Police say that at around 10.40am, a 22-year-old Hendra man was driving a stolen silver Audi Q5 along Maundrell Terrace when it hit a black Mitsubishi Outlander station wagon head-on.
“Initial investigations indicate the same Audi had been reported stolen from a Northgate address between 7.30am and 9am this morning,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The occupants of the Mitsubishi, a 34-year-old man and a 4-year-old boy, required medical for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”
The Hendra man was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital for assessment of his injuries while in police custody.
Police are appealing for information and dash cam footage from the Aspley and Northgate areas, particularly regarding the silver Audi with Queensland registration QCG75Z, to assist them with their ongoing investigation.
