Police search for missing Orange 11-year-old

UPDATE

A girl reported missing from the state’s west has been located safe and well.

The 11-year-old girl was reported missing after she was last seen at a playground on Gosling Creek in Orange about 5pm on Sunday.

When she could not be located, officers from Central West Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries and a public appeal, the 11-year-old girl was located in Orange safe and well about 4.30pm yesterday.

Police thank the public and the media for their assistance.

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a girl missing from the state’s west.

Tahlia Hinchcliffe, aged 11, was last seen at a playground on Gosling Creek in Orange about 5pm on Sunday.

When she could not be located, officers from Central West Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

Tahlia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 150 to 160cm tall, of a medium build, and with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black singlet, black jogger pants, and pink Nike shoes.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare, due to her age.

Anyone who sees Tahlia, or has any information on her whereabouts, are urged to come forward.
