Queensland Police have charged a 57-year-old woman after she recorded a breath test nearly four times the legal limit in Millmerran yesterday.
In a statement, Police said that at around 10.30am on Thursday, officers were conducting a static random breath test site on Mary Street when they intercepted a 2006 Nissan Patrol.
“The female driver underwent a roadside breath test, which police will allege produced an initial positive reading. Upon completing a secondary breast analysis back at the station, it will be further alleged the woman produced a breath analysis sample of 0.195%, placing her over the legal alcohol limit,” Queensland Police said.
The 57-year-old Millmerran woman was charged with one count of driving a vehicle under the influence and had her licence suspended.
She has been issued with a notice to appear in the Millmerran Magistrates Court on 17 July.
