Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 12-year-old boy missing from Warana.
Police say he was last seen along the Nicklin Way, near the Fruit Shed around 5.30pm.
“Police and family hold concern for his welfare, given the boy’s young age,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
The boy is Caucasian, around 160cm in height, of slim build with blonde hair and brown eyes.
The boy was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, board shorts a black hooded jumper and sneakers.
Anyone who has seen him or has further information is urged to contact police.
