WA Police are tonight searching for a Willetton Senior High School student who allegedly stabbed a female teacher on school grounds this morning.
Emergency services were called to the school at around 11.15am today after the teacher, who is aged in her 50s, was reportedly stabbed in front of a group of students.
The injured woman was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital where she is said to be in a stable condition.
A WA Police spokeswoman said officers were trying to locate the student, who fled the school grounds following the shocking incident.
The school was in lockdown for around 30 minutes before classroom teaching resumed.
