A 62-year-old motorcyclist has died after a single vehicle crash in the Wide Bay area yesterday.
Police say their initial inquiries indicate that at around 8am on Sunday, the 62-year-old Bundaberg man was travelling along Gin Gin Road in Mooloolaman towards Mount Perry and hit a kangaroo.
“The rider was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene a short time later,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“Anyone who was travelling in the area and may have further information is asked to contact police.”
