A 71-year-old man has died after his vehicle became submerged in floodwaters at Greenbank this morning.
Police were called to conduct a welfare check of a vehicle in floodwaters at a private property on Begley Road around 5.20am.
“A 71-year-old Greenbank man was located deceased near the vehicle,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
“The death has not been deemed suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
