Queensland Police will prepare a report for the coroner following a house fire in Robina yesterday that claimed the life of a 99-year-old woman.
Emergency services were called to a Milling Court address to reports of a house fire just before 3pm on Monday.
“A 99-year-old woman sustained life-threatening burns and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where she later died,” Queensland Police said today.
“Initial investigations indicate the fire was non-suspicious; however, investigations into the cause are ongoing.”
