Victoria Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 71-year-old man.
The man, named Peter (pictured), was last seen on an 80-acre property on Channel Inlet Road in Waranga Shores about 7pm last night.
“Police hold concerns for Peter’s welfare due to his age and the amount of time he has been missing,” Victoria Police said in a statement today.
“Local police, supported by State Emergency Service personnel searched the large property, which is surrounded by water, well into the night.”
The search has recommenced this morning.
“An image of Peter has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts,” Police said.
