Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 12-year-old girl reported missing this afternoon.
The girl (pictured) was last seen boarding a train from Banoon Railway Station towards Brisbane City at 10.30am this morning.
She has not been seen or heard from since and the exact location of her departure from the train is unknown.
The girl is described as Aboriginal, about 162cm tall, slim build and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue tights and thongs.
Police are urging the girl or anyone that knows her whereabouts to contact police.
