Police have charged an 81-year-old man following investigations into a fatal two vehicle crash at Maroondan last month.
It will be alleged that at around 11am on April 20th, a red Honda motorbike was travelling west along Bundaberg Gin Gin Road when a collision occurred with a silver Ford Ranger utility near of Mevilles Road.
The rider, a 21-year-old Avenell Heights man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Following investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit, an 81-year-old Horse Camp man has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
