Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of an 87-year-old man in hospital from injuries sustained in a car crash at Daisy Hill last month.
“Investigators believe a utility was travelling along the Ballarat-Maryborough Road when it collided with a car which had entered the road from a private driveway at 11.20am on 24 November,” Victoria Police said in a statement today.
“The female driver of the utility, along with the male driver and female passenger of the other vehicle were transport to hospital with serious injuries.
“Sadly, the 87-year-old male driver of the car died in hospital.”
