A 73-year-old man has been charged with drug trafficking after police seized a large amount of illicit drugs at a Stawell home on Friday.
Detectives from the Northern Grampians Crime Investigation Unit attended a Fisher Street address, where they arrested a man and woman.
A search of the home revealed a large amount of heroin, methylamphetamine and cocaine.
A 73-year-old man has been charged with traffick methylamphetamine, possess methylamphetamine, traffick heroin, possess heroin, traffick cocaine, possess cocaine and possess proceeds of crime.
The Stawell man was remanded to appear before Stawell Magistrates’ Court on January 20 next year.
A 23-year-old woman was also charged with traffick methylamphetamine, possess methylamphetamine, traffick heroin, possess heroin, traffick cocaine, possess cocaine and possess proceeds of crime.
The woman, also from Stawell, was bailed to appear before Stawell Magistrates’ Court on January 5.
