Queensland Police have located 11-year-old Laine-Ella Hyland, whose disappearance 10 days ago sparked a statewide search for the youngster.
Police say that Laine-Ella Hyland left her home in Main Beach at 8.30pm on August 18 without money or a phone and was last seen at a Southport address on August 24.
On Friday, Queensland police announced that she had been located “safe and well”.
“Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance,” Police said in a statement.
No further details about her disappearance of the circumstances of her discovery have been given.
Earlier on Friday Police had released footage of Laine-Ella, showing her meeting with two other girls on the night she left home.
