The Hinchinbrook community is gearing up for a day of family fun, community connection, and wellbeing at the upcoming Hinchinbrook Get Out, Get Active, and Connect event on Saturday.
Located at the Ingham Showgrounds, this free event promises to be a memorable day filled with excitement, activities and live entertainment featuring Louie from Sneaky Beats Music and Minty from Triple M.
It’s your perfect opportunity to kick back, learn, and enjoy, with a chance to go into the draw to win a one night stay in a Rainforest Cabin donated by Vista Hinchinbrook.
Former rugby league player, Greg Inglis (pictured) and elite performance expert, Dr Jo Lukins, will be sharing insights on mental health and resilience, inspiring and supporting attendees on their journeys.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together for a day of celebration and wellbeing. This event is an opportunity to enjoy exciting activities and a platform to connect with local resources and support services, fostering a sense of community spirit,” said Council’s Chief Executive Officer, Mary-Anne Uren.
Local clubs are inviting participants to embrace the activities and discover new hobbies. The event will feature live demonstrations and hands on sessions for attendees.
