Thyme Lifestyle Resort Hervey Bay has officially welcomed the first homeowners to its over-50s lifestyle community.
Serenitas CEO, Rob Nichols and his team joined the new homeowners at an event hosted at Thyme this week to celebrate the milestone.
“Welcoming our first homeowners is such an exceptional moment in time for this world-class development and what better way to mark this occasion than with a celebration,” said Mr Nichols.
“Our plans to create a vibrant active and engaging in the beautiful Hervey Bay Region has today become a reality. We appreciate Australians are placing greater value on making the most of life and the investment in this lifestyle resort makes it possible for many to own a home in a beautiful coastal location with all the active and social benefits of a connected community.”
Among the first homeowners were Celia and Jake Roode, who set off from Victoria a year ago to travel around Australia and find a new place to settle down. They made the decision to call Hervey Bay home, thanks to its beaches, warm weather and outdoor lifestyle, as they love to kayak and golf.
“We’ve been a bit nomadic in the past, travelling to many different countries and places in Australia. Moving into Thyme Hervey Bay allows us the opportunity to lock up and go should we be interested in travelling again later down the track. We are so excited to call Thyme home and be part of the community, this is going to be a great thing for us,” says Celia and Jake.
“We looked at a number of other lifestyle resorts, but we chose Thyme because of the build quality and affordable homes, and the resort facilities look spectacular.”
Thyme Lifestyle Resort Hervey Bay is located in the Fraser Coast region of Queensland. Thyme Lifestyle Resort is Serenitas’ flagship lifestyle resort brand for the East Coast of Australia with communities also located in Moreton Bay and Evans Head.
Upon completion Thyme Hervey Bay will feature a multimillion-dollar clubhouse with world-class facilities, said Mr Nichols.
