WA Police Child Abuse Squad Detectives have charged an 80-year-old Shelley man as part of their investigation into historic child sexual abuse allegations.
It will be alleged by Police that between 1967 and 1968, the man sexually assaulted a girl who was between 9 and 10-years-old at the time.
The man has been charged with five counts of indecent dealing with girl under 13 and two counts of unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under 13 years.
The man is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on 30 May.
