Deck the halls in Dresden
Boasting the oldest and most traditional Christmas markets in Europe, you’ll be spoilt for choice during two nights in Dresden. Dating back to 1434, Striezelmarkt showcases timeless traditions with its freshly baked namesake, Stollen (Christmas cake), and a 14.61 metre wooden rotating Christmas pyramid. Party in Prague
Crossing into the Czech Republic for a couple of days, you’ll get a taste for the magnificence of Prague with a visit to Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world. As home to Good King Wenceslas, naturally the ‘must go’ Christmas market is in Wenceslas Square where you can warm up with a mug of Svařené víno (mulled wine) while shopping for handmade glassware and colourful puppets.

Sing noels Nürnberg
Deeply rooted in WWII history, Nürnberg also has a rich medieval history stretching back thousands of years, and one of the oldest and most famous Christmas markets in the world. Wooden booths bursting with handmade Christmas decorations and gingerbread houses, wind through the pedestrian only laneways, and at dusk the air is filled with the sound of music, twinkling lights and the smell of mulled wine.

With your Christmas stockings full, the tour finishes in Munich where you can head home or go in search of more white Christmas cheer. For more information click here! https://bit.ly/4i2b9M3
