A 90-year-old woman has died after being struck by a reversing vehicle in Reservoir yesterday afternoon.
Police say the woman was walking along Aberdeen Street about 3pm when she was struck by a white Hyundai van which was reversing out of a driveway.
“The woman was trapped under the vehicle for some time while emergency services worked to free her,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“She was later transported to hospital with serious injuries where she passed away last night.”
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 30’s, stopped at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
