An 83-year-old woman has died in a house fire north of Coffs Harbour this morning.
Police say that at around 6.30am, emergency services were called to a home on Old Coast Road, Korora, following reports of a fire.
“Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District, along with Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service, attended a short time later and located the body of an 83-year-old woman inside,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The fire was extinguished, and the cause is not believed to be suspicious.”
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
