South Australian emergency services attended a crash at Goolwa this morning after a car crashed into a bakery, injuring a 62-year-old woman.
SA Police say the car left the road and crashed into a bakery on Hutchinson Street in Goolwa, just before 11am today.
There were several people, including customers and staff, inside the shop at the time.
“A 62-year-old woman, who was a customer inside the shop, was injured in the crash.  She was taken to hospital by ambulance but fortunately her injuries are not considered life-threatening,” SA Police said in a statement.
“The driver of the car, a 69-year-old Goolwa woman, was taken to hospital as a precaution but did not appear physically injured.”
SES crews attended and helped to shore up the structure, while the car was removed and towed from the scene.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
