Queensland Forensic Police are calling for witnesses to a crash near Bundaberg on Saturday which claimed the life of an 85-year-old man.
Police say that shortly after 4pm on Saturday, a white station wagon collided with the rear of a detached truck trailer that was stopped on the shoulder of the road.
“An 85-year-old Avenell Heights man, the driver and sole occupant of the station wagon, was transported to Bundaberg Hospital but was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
As Police investigate the crash further, they are asking for any witnesses to contact them.
