Emergency services have attended a collision between a car and a tram in Coburg this evening.
It’s believed the collision occurred on Sydney Road just before 6.30pm, with Victoria Police saying the six occupants of the car were initially trapped at the scene.
“All were eventually freed and taken to hospital, two in a critical condition, two in a serious condition and two with non-life-threatening injuries,” police said.
“All passengers on the tram and, the driver, were assessed at the scene and were not injured.”
The exact cause of the collision is being investigated.
