A 57-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after a truck crash near Bingara in the NSW New England region today.
Shortly before 2pm the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene of the crash on the Bingara to Delungra Road.
“A 57 year old male sustained head and leg injuries in the accident,” Westpac Rescue said in a statement.
“The patient was trapped for a short time before being released by emergency services.
“He was treated on scene by NSWA paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to airlifting him to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital for further treatment.”
The man was in a stable condition.
