A 63-year-old man has died in a crash at Maddington this morning.
Police say at around 8.40am, a truck and trailer travelling south on the Tonkin Highway, crossed to the incorrect side of the road and hit a tree.
“The driver and sole occupant was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital but died a short time later,” WA Police said in a statement.
