A man will appear in court today charged with murder of his 69-year-old father in Sydney’s north yesterday.
Police say that at around 4.20pm on Thursday, emergency services were called to a home on Kita Road in Berowra Heights, following reports of a domestic violence incident.
“On arrival, officers from Ku-Ring-Gai Police Area Command found a man suffering serious injuries,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The 69-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.”
A 38-year-old man who police say was known to the victim was arrested at the home and taken to Hornsby Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He has been refused bail to appear at Hornsby Local Court today.
