Police seek stolen ute used to ram Police

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released images of a ute that was stolen in Bendigo last month and used to ram two police vehicles in Hawthorn this morning.

The vehicle, a 2019 Mitsubishi Triton utility, was stolen from an Arnold Street address sometime overnight on 21 October.

The utility was located at a service station on Church Street, Hawthorn about 4.20am this morning.

As police units approached, the utility rammed two police vehicles before fleeing the scene.

Investigators believe the stolen ute may now be back in the Bendigo area.

Investigators have released images of the Triton and are appealing to anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
