An investigation is underway after a kangaroo was found killed and mutilated in the state’s Murray River region.
Police say a member of the public discovered the kangaroo on a walking trail on Bila Lane within the Wonga Wetlands in Albury yesterday. morning.
The kangaroo had been killed by a bow and arrow and was then mutilated and left on the path, Police said.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 3pm on Wednesday (1 December) and 6am yesterday (2 December).
