A 50-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after a serious motorbike accident at Wollombi today.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked at around 1pm today after reports of the accident on the Great North Road at Wollombi.
“NSW Ambulance Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team have treated and stabilised the 50-year-old male rider for serious shoulder and arm injuries and he has been airlifted to JHH in a stable condition for further treatment,” said a spokesperson for the Northern NSW Helicopter Rescue Service.
