A body, believed to be that of a 79-year-old woman missing from the state’s Central Coast, has been located today.
The woman was last seen on Ocean View Road, Ettalong Beach at around 1pm, on Thursday.
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts, NSW Police said in a statement.
“Following inquiries, about 12.20pm today, emergency services located the body of a woman at Iron Ladder Beach, Box Head,” NSW Police said.
“While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing woman.”
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
