Police are appealing for information after a 63-year-old man was assaulted and his vehicle stolen in an early morning attack in the Orana Region yesterday.
Police say that at around 5.30am on Sunday, the 63-year-old man was asleep in his vehicle at the corner of Meryula and Terangion streets, Narromine, when he was approached by two men.
“It is alleged the men pulled the man from the vehicle and assaulted him, before stealing his wallet and driving away,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The red Holden Commodore utility bearing NSW registration CZ28HU was last seen travelling west along Terangion Street.”
Emergency services attended and the injured man was taken to Narromine Hospital for treatment. He was later taken to Dubbo Base Hospital for treatment to a suspected broken jaw.
