A Queensland Police officer’s body-worn camera has captured a bizarre carjacking incident in Augustine Heights.
The vision shows the moment officers intercepted a white BMW sedan stolen from Augustine Heights by a man allegedly armed with a knife and a hammer.
“The man climbed into the boot and allegedly forced the victim to drive towards Greenbank,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
The woman was travelling to Springfield Police Station when officers stopped the vehicle and extracted the alleged offender from the boot by pulling his body out between the car’s back seats.
