A 68-year-old Kawana man has been charged over the alleged murder of a 74-year-old woman who was found dead in her home in North Rockhampton last weekend.
The victim was a resident of a cottages co-located on the PresCare Alexandra Gardens aged care site in Kawana.
Queensland Police say the Kawana man has been charged with murder and will remain in police custody until his appearance at Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
It will be alleged the pair were known to each other.
