Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after an 86-year-old man died in a two vehicle crash this morning in Bowenville, south east of Dalby.
“Preliminary investigations indicate at 9.10am a car was travelling west on the Warrego Highway when it collided with the side of a semi-trailer heading in the opposite direction,” Queensland Police said in a statement this afternoon.
“The driver of the car and sole occupant, an 86-year-old Ipswich man, died at the scene.”
Police investigations are continuing.
