The Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal ride-on mower rollover that claimed the life of a 79-year-old man in Hampton this afternoon.
Police say their initial investigations indicate the man was mowing an area of grass along the fence line of a Collingwood Road property around 2.45pm when the ride-on mower he was operating rolled over.
“As a result, a 79-year-old man died at the scene. The incident has been deemed non-suspicious; however, investigations are ongoing,” Queensland Police said.
