A 69-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s north-west yesterday.
Police say that at around 2pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Peats Ferry Road, near the Pacific Highway at Hornsby, following reports a taxi had left the roadway and hit a pole.
“The driver – a 69-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The two passengers were uninjured.”
Officers attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
