A man and woman have been charged after a 53-year-old man was allegedly stabbed at a caravan park in Shellharbour after an argument about a music streaming service.
Police say that at around 1am on Tuesday, a 27-year-old man and 22-year-old woman entered the victim’s caravan on Junction Road, Barrack Point.
“It’s alleged the trio were in dispute over access to a music streaming service,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“As the older man attempted to force the pair out of the caravan, he was allegedly struck with a glass bottle several times, before being stabbed in the chest with a knife by the younger man.
“As other residents intervened, the pair allegedly entered their vehicle and crashed into a boom gate.”
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District attended a short time later and established a crime scene.
The woman was breath tested at the scene and returned a positive result.
The younger man and woman were arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where the woman returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.190.
The older man was taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition with stab wounds to his chest and lacerations to his head.
He is expected to undergo surgery later today.
The 22-year-old woman was charged with aggravated enter dwelling with intent – use corporal violence, and reckless wounding – in company, and drive with high range PCA.

Both were granted conditional bail to appear in Port Kembla Local Court next Wednesday.
