Victoria Police has announced the death of one of its beloved police dogs.
“PD Jed, aged 12, qualified with his first handler Leading Senior Constable Barnes in 2010, before being teamed with Leading Senior Constable Andrew Crouch in 2013,” Victoria Police said in a statement today.
“He was an outstanding canine who had a distinguished career with many notable arrests.”
PD Jed, passed away on Tuesday and will be very missed by the police community, Victoria Police said.
RIP, PD Jed.
